Real online demo · SDK v4.9

Digit-Ale MorpheusICAO

It takes a photograph and tells you whether it is acceptable for an identity document: requirement by requirement, according to ICAO 9303 and ISO/IEC 19794-5. When something is wrong, it also tells you what is wrong.

What it is for

The check that prevents rejection at the counter

A photograph rejected after submission costs a second appointment for the citizen, a second capture session and a delay in issuing the document. MorpheusICAO moves the check to the moment of capture: the operator knows immediately whether the photograph will pass, and what to correct if it does not.

The engine embeds KeeSquare technology, used in national document issuance programmes, trained and validated on millions of images across identity cards and passports.

What it checks

The requirements, one by one

  • Geometry — face position and size within the frame, inter-pupillary distance, centring.
  • Pose and gaze — head rotation and tilt, eyes open and looking at the lens.
  • Lighting — uniformity, shadows on the face and background, reflections.
  • Background — uniformity and separation from the subject.
  • Image quality — sharpness, noise, colour and skin tone rendition.
Online demo

Try it on your own photograph

This is not a simulation: the image you upload is processed by our SDK on a dedicated server, and the verdict you read is the real one. It also works from a smartphone camera.

Three ways to start

Upload a file from your device, take a photograph with the camera, or start from one of the samples already in the gallery.

A readable verdict

An overall outcome plus the detail for each individual requirement, with guidance on how to correct the ones that fail.

Demonstration use

Images returned by the public demo carry a watermark, and a daily processing limit per user applies.
